Project

Spatial Planetorium is an interactive experience simulating a planetarium suspended in deep space, designed to provide a guided tour of the solar system within a fully immersive digital environment. The user is placed inside a large transparent dome, floating in space, from which all planets can be observed as they orbit the sun.

I handled the entire development of the simulation, from 3D environment design to the integration of narrative and interactive elements. The project was built entirely in Blender and deployed on an evolving platform, overcoming several technical limitations to ensure performance, visual quality, and immersion.

Key Features
  • Immersive environment: a panoramic dome offering a symbolic-scale view of the entire solar system.
  • Automated voice guide: a virtual avatar narrates scientific facts and curiosities about each planet.
  • Orbital tour: planets follow a continuous path, simulating orbital motion and allowing sequential exploration.
  • Educational experience: designed to be accessible and informative, ideal for schools, science outreach, or casual exploration.
Challenges Overcome
The experience was engineered to be resilient to future platform updates while maintaining stability, performance, and broad device compatibility.
Project Goal

Spatial Planetorium is an experimental project combining technology, scientific storytelling, and interactive design. It was created to surprise, inform, and inspire, offering a new way to learn through immersive exploration.
